Olympus Evolt E330 7.5MP Digital SLR Camera with 14-45mm f3.5/5.6 Zuiko Digital Zoom Lens Customer Voice

I turn (good) images from 1985 when I bought my two Contax and Yashica and Zeiss lenses few CALR. Most of my images included in the film slides and you set the camera in Aperture Priority mode. My Contax are still here and ready to fire (but where all the pictures gone?).
But that's another story. From ancient times ???!!! I remember that I admired the Olympus OM for their small series), excellent design (OM Titan -4), andits versatility (see photos with their high-speed dedicated flash.
Oly C5050Z digital era lands in my hands, and their properties (design, handling, image clarity, brightness of the image) I had suffered. But I wanted something faster, start the motorcycle, as in the old days with my manual focus Contax. And then came the 330, I bought Fron Digital Depot (UK) with the Zuiko 14-45 in a good price. may be strange, but I wasattracted by its form and its price, of course. The camera is easy to integrate into the hands of anyone and everything is near the toes. The body (plastic) has its own quality (very good) and the recording speed, I must say that I am completely satisfied (I'm an amateur). The images are sharp and close to the film, but only until the ASA setting at 800 Beyond this peak the images are really strong. Autofocus is acceptable when reasonably bright, but more accurate Live View mode and extentHelp is always at the back of the camera, ready (and actually does).
So to be honest and a good judge .. I called paid £ 260 for body and lens at a time when Canon and Nikon, Pentax and more. I bought a single entity with a nice design, with sturdy (even plastic shell), feel the quality, versatile (programs), Live View mode, the function and supersonic for dust (not really a problem) . I took many shots in a busy without lightProtection and the camera is still working fine.
Today I have my Contax, the C5050z, the E330 and I recently bought a used E1 from e-bay at a good price. The only thing missing is the time, because when I was in Greece are of good weather on my site.

Pros:
excellent design and use (for the money to pay today).
Lovely design (for me).
Balanced and natural color saturation.
Lots of ways to pre-stage, where there iseverything.
Ready to shoot in just two seconds and keep shooting.

Cons:
The battery door bars. His toys made and care should be taken carefully. A bit 'the same for the port card.
I was not in a position yet, because the rear window much bigger the image is in perspective. But the screen is sharp and clear.
In addition to noise, which appears on 800 ASA everything else looks very good to me.

This is my second digital camera. In general, I like it. The only thing I like is that image quality does not seem as good as what I took with my camera eight years of age digital cost me about $ 200.

Second E-330 for longevity – William R. Tipton –
This is the second E-330 that I bought. I take photos underwater with your camera in an Ikelite housing. I have the Zuiko 14-54 and have no problems with the camera. Live View Mode "A" is ideal for fast-moving underwater creatures. Getting to use the LCD to frame my shot instead of trying to look through the veiwfinder with my mask. The newer models have not been able to "A" and therefore not usable for me. The Ike housing is expensive, so I took a second to expand its E-330 BodyLife.

The only negative point is that I can walk the road to the lens and camera. I started my career shooting underwater with the C-5050, which has a very bright and focused (not always what you want) to block very low light. The set-up I have is with the E-330 is often the focus in dim or dark water (not enough contrast).

I'm going with this combination into the camera and housing – hopefully a long, long time.

Excellent Camera for beginners – J.C. – California, USA
I shot with the camera now for 6 months and has served me well. I use to shoot canned food, as well as professional events and portraits. Until you know a little 'about the shooting, you can get the settings for the awesome shots. The basic aim is good, but if you want to go Pro you need, better lenses and an external flash. I have a 1.4x teleconverter with a lens Olympus 14-54mm and results. The LCD with Live View is a great breath ofRoom. What kind of SLR cameras, you are not satisfied until you get some goals better and an external flash to get the most out of your SLR camera. Now I use the camera well, I'm on an E-510 upgrade and bought only a 18-180mm lens and can not wait to use it. If you want to take pictures, such as canned food, then this would be a great camera for you and something far from point and shoot cameras, which always causes red eyes in photos.
